Cashel Arts Festival

Cashel Arts Festival is a four-day annual arts festival held in the historic town of Cashel, County Tipperary. Set against the backdrop of the iconic Rock of Cashel, the festival presents a diverse programme of music, theatre, visual arts, film and workshops, celebrating creativity while encouraging community participation and cultural engagement.

Nicecube has worked with Cashel Arts Festival for several years, supporting the festival’s digital presence through multiple website redevelopments and ongoing technical guidance.

Our relationship with Cashel Arts Festival began in 2017 with a complete website redevelopment, including bespoke illustrations and a custom venue map to help visitors navigate the festival.

In 2023, we delivered a second redevelopment, migrating the website to WordPress to provide a more flexible, user-friendly content management system. This enables organisers to update the festival programme, news and event information quickly and independently.

As part of the redevelopment, we also replaced the previous ticketing system with Ecwid, providing visitors with a secure and straightforward online booking experience while simplifying ticket management for the festival team.

The latest redevelopment has provided Cashel Arts Festival with a modern, responsive website that’s easier for both visitors and organisers to use.

The move to WordPress gives the committee complete control over day-to-day content management, while Ecwid delivers a reliable online ticketing solution. Feedback from users has been extremely positive, particularly regarding the ease of browsing the festival programme and booking events online.
